Has homeschooling made it tricky to keep your children on track with their schoolwork? Looking to add a little entertainment to their education program?
In the Kitchen with Professor Pancake is an easy way to add some fun (and tasty!) learning activities to the school day. This curriculum-friendly resource (for grades 1-6), couples the simple task of making pancakes with age-appropriate math, science and language activities. We’ve included fun puzzles and colouring sheets for preschoolers and parents as well.

In the Kitchen with Professor Pancake was created by POGO (Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario) to help raise awareness about the challenges families with a child in cancer treatment are currently facing. Under normal circumstances, these families face an economic hit as one parent gives up work to care for their sick child. The current COVID-19 pandemic is compounding this financial burden.
*POGO would like to thank Grade 11 student Azel Gallinger for creating the Professor Pancake Pancake image.
