Welcome to the Queen of Peace Color Run!

The City of Cloquet and Queen of Peace School are excited to bring to you the Queen of Peace Community Color Run!

What is a Color Run?

A color run is an event where participants run or walk through color zones while non-toxic powder (made from corn starch) is gently thrown at them.

Where is it located?

At Pine Valley Recreation Area in Cloquet. It is located behind the Northwoods Credit Union Arena on Olympic Drive.

How long is the course?

We will have two course options. A 5K and a Color Dash (about 2.5K). Both routes will allow you to collect colors from all the color zones!

Who can participate?

Anyone! This is an event to get people from Cloquet and the surrounding areas to come together for fun, exercise and community building! Invite everyone you can think of to run/walk with you! Please note that this event is held on non-paved trails that are not handicap accessible. Some terrain is bumpy. Strollers are allowed, but jogging strollers are recommended. Everyone is welcome to spend the day in the park enjoying all the activities planned for participants and non-participants. Bubbles, yard games, prizes and FOOD TRUCKS! Everyone is invited to join in the COLOR BLAST at the end of the event!

Do I have to run?

No! There will be runners, walkers, joggers, skippers, dancers, lollygaggers and stroller pals!

How much is registration and what does it include?

Registration will be $20 for ages 5-12 and $25 for ages 13+ (under 5 is free!).

Registration includes a Color Run t-shirt (if you register by 8/16), a bottle of water, a snack and any sponsorship items.

Will there be prizes?

You bet!

Will there be food/ water/ bathrooms?

Yes, yes, and yes! We will have several food trucks including Junior's Backyard BBQ and the B&B Wagon! Water jugs will be available to refill water bottles (on a limited basis) and beverages will be available to purchase from vendors. There is a bathroom in the chalet.
