About Race to Reimagine Cancer Care 2024

Join the Abington Health Foundation Women’s Board for the Race to Reimagine on our certified course, starting and finishing at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center - Asplundh Cancer Pavilion in Willow Grove, PA! Runners and walkers are welcome and all proceeds from the race will support the center. We believe no one should ever face a cancer diagnosis alone.

Certified course. Team are encouraged. There will be awards presented for the 5K top finisher in male and female age groups as well as male and female top three overall finishers.

Fun for the Whole Family:
Friends, family, kids, and friendly pets welcome! Face painting, cotton candy, and raffle basket drawings, DJ, great snacks and plenty of fun! Participants may use strollers during the 5K - strollers will start at the back of the participants group.

Immediately following the race will be ACP's annual guest speaker event. 

“A Cancer Patient’s Journey to Survive and Thrive”

Please join us immediately after the race to hear guest speakers discuss their journeys to survivorship.

  • 7:45 a.m. - Registration Opens
  • 8:45 a.m. - Race Warm Up
  • 9:00 a.m. - Race Begins (walkers will begin after the runners start)
  • 9:45 a.m. - Race Awards 

Light Refreshments will be available. 

Tee shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registrants if you register by October 1 and available while supplies last for post registrants after October 1.

5K Race Awards (male and female finishers) will be awarded to:

  • First, Second, and Third Place Overall (male and female)
  • First Place Finishers in Age Groups (male and female): 11 and Under; 12-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79, 80 and over.
