Host Your Own Event!

There are endless ways to host an event to fundraise- virtually or in-person. To set up your event, go to "Manage my page" then select "Host an event". Events can be open to the public or invite-only to your network. Events are a great way to spread the word and fundraise for Rainbows. Have your attendees donate a suggested amount to attend your event. Check out some ideas below!

• Host a virtual movie night with TeleParty. Send the movie link to your friends and ask them to donate the price of a movie ticket.
• Host a Happy Hour (National Happy Hour Day is November 12!)
• Play a virtual game of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”

There are lots of national days in November. You can use these days to spread awareness for your campaign or host an event:

·       Nov. 7- National Cancer Awareness Day

·       Nov. 11- National Sundae Day

·       Nov. 12- National Happy Hour Day

·       Nov. 14- Children's Day

·       Nov. 15- National Philanthropy Day

·       Nov. 18: Children’s Grief Awareness Day

·       Nov. 25- Thanksgiving Day

·       Nov. 30- Giving Tuesday
