How To Make Your 2020 READ FEED RUN Virtual 5K Turkey Trot Official!

Get your 5K Trot on and then easily send us your finish time:

1. Plan your 5K route, decide how you will time yourself (your favorite gps tracking app, a stopwatch, etc.), then get Trottin!

2. Visit this Google form, complete, submit. ( https://forms.gle/yuLaAidFJbUQopsw7 )

3. Then join us on Facebook and post your selfies! We love to see our runners sporting their Turkey Tees and Bib #s. #ReadFeedRun ( www.facebook.com/events/326868728635579/?active_tab=discussion )

4. Wait for the big reveal when the final 5K results are posted and shared on Monday 11/30/20 after all finish times have been submitted. Congrats!

Start by clicking the “Track Your Miles” button in the top right of the menu bar.You can sign up with Google, Facebook, Twitter, or Email.
Locate the Virtual Thanksgiving Day 5K on OneCause. Select “Mile Tracker” from the top menu bar (or scroll down the homepage and click the orange Complete The Activities button). Direct link: https://p2p.onecause.com/readfeedrun/activities#activities Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday 11/25, the “Thanksgiving Day 5K” Virtual Turkey Trot will appear in the Activity Options. Click the logo.
Connect your Strava account and your time will automatically upload! Go to the “Thanksgiving Day 5K” activity and click on the orange “Link My Strava Account” button. An authorization screen will appear and you may have to sign in. Enter “3.1” miles as your fitness goal if prompted to do so. Get ready to Trot your 5K (3.1 miles) and start your Strava!
A few more details: Once connected, all Strava workouts between 11/25 (5pm) and 11/29 (midnight) will automatically upload to both the Thanksgiving Day 5K and Marathon Miles. On 11/30, if you have more than one 5K effort posted, we will select your best time for results. Stop your Strava activities from uploading by going to “Edit Profile” (upper right dropdown under your name/picture). In the Social Accounts box click on “Your Strava account is linked” and select “Unlink”. If you’d like to share a short message in the results, do so in the Title field in Strava when saving your 5K.
