Run for Rainbows 2023

About Run for Rainbows 2023

Show your support for children who are grieving by Running with Rainbows! Starting May 1 and wrapping up June 4, you'll have five weeks to meet your goal for Rainbows.

1.   Register below to create a personal fundraising page and challenge others to help us raise $20,000. Set your fitness goal and  fundraising goal to raise critical funding for our programming. Create your own page or join a team!

2.   Tell your story! Whether you are a facilitator, board member, or an advocate supporting children in their grief, sharing why you support Rainbows helps others become aware of our mission and impact. When you let others know you support a cause, they are more likely to support it because of you.

3. Share on your socials! Your registration fee counts as your first donation towards your personal fundraising goal. Ask your friends, colleagues, family, and neighbors to help support you and our goal of raising $20,000.

4.   Log your activity! No matter how you're participating, track your progress on your personal fundraising page. Walk, run, play pickleball, take a yoga class, climb a mountain- it's up to you!

5. Optional: Join us for the Finish Line Celebration on Sunday, June 4th! We'll walk the final mile together and have a celebration by our office in downtown Evanston.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

American children are experiencing significant losses in their lives:

    • 57% experience their parents' divorce
    • 17% experience the death of a parent or sibling
    • 5% experience the incarceration of their parent or caregiver
    • 3% experience the deployment of a parent
    • Over 200,000 children have lost a parent/caregiver to COVID-19

Rainbows is here for those children through their grieving process. Can you support us in making sure no child ever grieves alone?

Thanks to our generous sponsors:
