About The Shark Tank Showdown
Rise Life Services and The People's Arc of Suffolk dare you to be part of the Shark Tank Showdown, a heart-pounding, and exciting fundraiser happening at the Long Island Aquarium on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
And the best part? YOU get to decide who takes the plunge!
Our fearless (or maybe just unlucky) participants—staff, family, and friends—are all competing to raise the most funds. But only the top fundraisers will earn the “honor” of stepping into the shark cage and facing some real-life underwater predators!
Want to see someone from RISE swim with the sharks? Donate to their name! Want to spare them? Get others to donate even more to their competition! It’s all in good fun and all for an incredible cause—supporting Rise Life Services' essential programs for individuals in need.

Rise Life Services and the People's Arc of Suffolk are raising money and awareness for their amazing programs supporting people with developmental disabilities.
Specifically, Rise Life Services will be fund raising to install fire doors in all of their residential group homes, adding safety and peace of mind for the people they serve.
