About ROCK THE RIDE 2026

📅 Date: March 8th, 2025
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
📍 Location: JH Conference Center

HOW IT WORKS
Step 1 — START A TEAM, JOIN A TEAM, OR GO EXTREME

🤘Start or join a team — Teams can have up to 4 riders. Rock your way to success with a $25 sign-up fee that gets your fundraising started. Then, get fundraising and watch your page soar!

⚡Pick a team name — You can change it anytime. Have more than 4 people? Start a new team! We've have had plenty of teams over the year reserve multiple bikes (e.g., Bad Moms, Bad Moms II, etc.).

🤘Set your team fundraising goal — Aim high and exceed it! The more you raise, the more we can put toward supporting the Heart Strong Future Gap Fund.

⚡Extreme Participants — One rider commits to riding all 3 hours with a minimum fundraising commitment of $400.

🤘Set your personal fundraising goal — You choose your goal! A $250 goal is just 10 people donating $25 or 5 people giving $50 each—you get the picture! But don’t stop there. Go big, do your best, and don’t stress if you don’t hit your goal. Some people will crush it, while others may not know where to begin. Every participant brings something different, and every dollar helps build a stronger Heart Strong community.

⚡Party On + Off the Bike for 3 Hours — Ride hard or hardly ride! Your team can split the 3 hours on the bike however you like. We just ask that you keep the wheels in motion.

Step 2 — RAISE MAD CASH

🤘Teams have until Sunday, November 15th at 11:59 PM to keep raising funds and crush those goals! READ MORE about fundraising, goals, and creative ways to raise money.

Step 3 — PLAN

⚡Get creative with your team theme or costume—from elaborate to simple matching T-shirts, we’ve seen it all! The more vim and vigor you put in, the more you’ll get out of it.

🤘Prizes awarded for highest fundraising total, most spirit, best costumes, distance challenges, and more!

Step 4 — RIDE, DANCE, PARTY!

⚡Doors open at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 8th, for the 9th Annual Rock The Ride at the JH Conference Center. Check in, rally with your team, choose and decorate your bike, purchase raffle tickets for amazing prizes, grab some snacks, and GET PUMPED UP!

STROKE & CARDIAC HEALTH: A RISK FOR EVERYONE, AT ANY AGE

In 2006, Julie Guttormson, founder of Rock On Society, suffered a life-changing stroke at 31 due to three blood clots in her brain. Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, impacting people of all ages and fitness levels. Fortunately, Julie fully recovered with the support of her health insurance. However, her experience opened her eyes to the disparities in healthcare, especially for those without similar resources.

Motivated to make a difference, Julie launched Rock The Ride in 2016 and founded Rock On Society in 2022 to promote heart health for all. Cardiovascular diseases, including heart disease and stroke, remain the leading global causes of death, yet many are unaware of the risks. Julie’s efforts have since grown into a powerful mission of awareness, education, and community support.

Today, Rock The Ride benefits the Heart Strong Future Grant, supporting local organizations focused on stroke and cardiac issues. It also funds a Microgrant to assist stroke and cardiac victims with medical expenses, offering critical financial support during recovery. This timely help can significantly improve recovery outcomes and make a real difference in people's lives.

PEDAL. PARTY. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

ROCK THE RIDE IS A MEMORABLE EVENING OF COMMUNITY, CAMARADERIE, AND CONNECTION.

This indoor cycling event (ride hard or hardly ride), with entertainment, dancing, and singing, is all about letting loose and supporting a great cause!

Form a team, become a sponsor, donate your time, or simply give. Your participation could help someone you know—or someone you don’t. Proceeds benefit the Heart Strong Future Grant, supporting local organizations focused on stroke and cardiac issues, as well as providing a Microgrant for medical expenses for stroke and cardiac victims.

Join us for a rockin' evening of dancing, indoor cycling, music, and non-stop fun!

Thank you for your support!
