WHAT IS STRONGER TOMORROW 5K?
The Stronger Tomorrow 5K is a virtual fundraising event benefiting Dream On 3. The event includes a 4 week training plan for your 5K, weekly Dream Kid Challenges. Each participant will receive a participant page and will be invited to compete in a race for points earned by fundraising, recruiting, participating in weekly Dream Kid Challenges, and posting about the event on social media using #StrongerTomorrow5K.
WHEN IS STRONGER TOMORROW 5K?
Race Day is June 20th. Registration opens on May 18th and the 5K training program begins May 25th.
WHERE WILL THE STRONGER TOMORROW 5K TAKE PLACE?
Stronger Tomorrow 5K is a virtual 5K, so you can run, walk, or cartwheel your 5K in your neighborhood, at your local trail, or on your teadmill…anywhere you feel comfortable and safe!
WHAT IS DREAM ON 3?
Dream On 3 is a non-profit organization that grants sports based Dreams for children with life-altering conditions. Please learn more about this organization at www.dreamon3.org
IS STRONGER TOMORROW A COMPETITION?
Yes! But it's not about speed, it's a points race. You can earn points by recruiting friends to join you, posting on social media using the #StrongerTomorrow5K, completing Dream Kid Challenges, and fundraising.
WHAT DOES THE WINNER RECEIVE?
The winning participant wins a pair of AfterShokz Wireless Open Ear Headphones!
HOW DO I SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE?
There are three ways you can join:
CAN WE FORM A TEAM?
Absolutely! Everything is more fun with a team! You can fundraise as an individual or you can join a team. If you join a team, you are still in the running for the participant’s point race! It’s the best of both worlds!!!
WHAT IS THE COST TO REGISTER?
It’s FREE!! There is no cost to register! Your participation page will have a $100 fundraising goal with no obligation. You get points for every dollar you fundraise though, so we encourage you to get the word out to your family and friends and spread our mission! Some people may show their support by donating to your participant page, or maybe even by joining your team!
You can search for Dream Kid Challenges by clicking on "Complete A Dream Kid Challenge" on the left side of your Page Manager. Find the list of available Dream Kid Challenges there and click on the one(s) you would like to complete! They are 100 points each!!!
WHAT SWAG DO I GET?
If you raise $100 by June 5th, you will receive a Stronger Tomorrow 5K t-shirt
DO I HAVE TO BE ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RACE?
No. You can sign up with an email address. You won’t even miss out on points for posting pictures and videos! You can post those directly to your participant page and still earn your points!!! We would love for you to share Dream On 3’s mission with your social media network.
