About 2026 Summit Challenge

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

Summit Challenge will take place rain or shine! If lightning or other severe weather occurs before a posted start time, the start will be delayed for 30 minutes. Additional delays may be necessary if severe weather continues. Please check the Summit Challenge homepage on event morning for the latest start-time updates: https://p2p.onecause.com/summitchallenge2026

Once on course, if lightning or severe weather occurs, please seek safe shelter and wait at least 30 minutes after the last lightning sighting before continuing. Riders are responsible for monitoring conditions and using their own discretion when deciding whether it is safe to continue. NAC staff cannot monitor or enforce weather-related stops across the entire course but will communicate updates with SAG drivers and rest stop hosts when possible.

Remember, Summit Challenge is a ride, not a race. Please prioritize your safety.

WE RIDE TOGETHER

FOR THE NATIONAL ABILITY CENTER

We highly recommend registering early—last year’s event sold out!

We are a community of cyclists - with a range of abilities. We pedal together to challenge ourselves with a Discovery Loop, 16, 25, 50, 80 or 100-mile fully-supported ride through the scenic mountains of Northern Utah while we raise money for the National Ability Center's industry-leading adaptive cycling and mountain bike programs. Find your summit with us! Visit the Summit Challenge website here!
