Registration Quick Guide

Is there a registration fee to participate?

There is no registration fee to participate; however, we ask that all participants commit to raising critical funds to support psoriatic disease research and support/education services.

How do I Take ACTION?

1. Take ACTION and register
2. Form a Team and recruit friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to join you
3. Encourage everyone to Take ACTION for Psoriatic Disease and fundraise

  • Share stories and fundraise on Social Media​
  • Ask for support via email/text message
  • Plan your own “Fun”raising Event

4. Join the psoriatic disease community at Take ACTION-Fest, the campaign’s culmination. This will be a festival of fun for the whole NPF family and will include food, entertainment, vendor booths, an inspiring program and more!


Team and Personal Fundraising Pages

Do I need to use my fundraising page?
We encourage every participant to share their personal story and connection to psoriatic disease. Please share with your network why this event is important to you and encourage them to participate and donate with you. How many people should be on my team?
The more, the merrier. There is no required number or limit to how many team members you can have to join your team. Please share why you are participating and fundraising with your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors, and ask them to join you.

Should I encourage my friends to join or donate to my team?
Both! Once you set up your fundraising page, we encourage you to send it to your networks, asking them to join your team first. Most often, if someone joins your team, they will also donate. If they join your team, they become another recruiter and fundraiser. If people do not want to join, ask them to donate to support this mission and this event.

How do I get started with fundraising?
The best fundraising efforts start by sharing your personal story about why you're participating. You can share your story on your fundraising page by logging in to your Fundraising Dashboard and selecting "Manage my page" from the dropdown menu. Once your page is updated, share it with your network via text message, email, social networking, and word of mouth.

What if I want to pay via check?

Where do the fundraising funds go?
Funds raised with the Take ACTION events go to support the mission of NPF, which is to drive efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected.
