TD StairClimb FOR UNITED WAY ELGIN MIDDLESEX

Together, we can everyone in our region a fair shot at a good life!
Your #LocalLove has never been more important – let’s get #ReUnited and reconnected to a community where everyone matters.
The symptoms of poverty are real, and growing. 1 in 4 kids in our community live in a household that struggles to pay rent and buy food. More people are experiencing homelessness, addiction and mental health issues. People who were struggling before the pandemic are finding themselves closer to the margins now.
You can help.
This year, TD StairClimb for United Way is taking place at Budweiser Gardens. I’m asking you to sponsor me and help spread the word - so together we can help United Way invest in local programs and services working in our community and proven to get results.
Here’s what your support means to people facing barriers to a good life in our community:
$52 provides 33 individuals experiencing mental health distress with inclusive and welcoming phone support from a trained volunteer at CMHA Middlesex Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services
$365 provides 251 children with a healthy and nutritious breakfast at South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre
$1,200 provides four months of supportive, one-to-one counselling at Anova for a woman who experienced sexual violence
Pledge your support as I make the TD StairClimb for United Way!
