These Bikes Change Lives Ride is the McLindon Family Foundation's annual benefit bike ride dedicated to raising funds to provide adaptive bikes for children with special needs.

The McLindon Family Foundation (MFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a year-round mission to provide adaptive bicycles to children with special needs, giving them strength, confidence, and inclusion of riding alongside family and friends.

This year’s event provides the route options of 10-mile, 35-mile, 70-mile ride starting and ending in New Orleans at Ochsner's Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development on October 18, 2026, from 7am - 12pm. Participation in this event is both a challenge and a privilege register for the ride today!
These Bikes Change Lives Fest
After the ride, join us to celebrate the joy of receiving an adaptive bike at These Bikes Change Lives Fest. This fun post-ride party takes place in New Orleans at Ochsner’s Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development on October 18, 2026, from 9am - 12pm. The These Bikes Change Lives Fest features a post-race speech, multiple bike deliveries to children with special needs, refreshments, local pop-up vendors, and more!
