2026 TPG Throwdown benefitting Home Plate Youth Services and Girls Build

About 2026 TPG Throwdown

The 5th Annual TPG Throwdown is back! Rally your teams, colleagues, and friends for a high-energy warehouse cornhole tournament that brings the competition (and the fun) inside.

We’re calling all backyard legends, summer-BBQ champs, and tailgate heroes to grab a partner and show off your skills—all for a great cause.

This year’s event benefits Home Plate Youth Services and Girls Build, two local nonprofits supporting the health, education, and future success of Oregon’s next generation. Together, we’ll help provide stability, opportunity, and pathways to independence for youth in our community.

About the TPG Foundation

Founded in 2020, the TPG Foundation is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to making a difference in the communities where we live and work by investing in the health, wellbeing, and education of the next generation. Through signature events like the TPG Throwdown and Paddle Palooza, the Foundation supports TPG’s #Give30 Campaign—a commitment to give back $30 million by 2030. Thank you for being part of the impact.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

We have big goals. And so do our beneficiaries.

The Foundation’s focus is on root-cause issues and corresponding non-profits, so that TPG can:

  1. help our communities thrive, and
  2. support the next generation in moving upward and onward.

The goal is to “move the needle forward” for a small, select group of non-profit organizations so that they achieve their big goals. We want to give significant and game-changing gifts to those non-profits that are making a big difference.

Why Participate?

Because it's fun! And because it means so much to those who benefit.

Join us with friends, family, and co-workers for a friendly (yet competive) day of cornhole in support of our chosen beneficiaries -- you may choose to 1) participate in two-person teams at the event itself; 2) become a corporate or individual sponsor in support of the event; or 3) all of the above!

At our inaugural Throwdown in 2022, TPG President Sarah Friend said, “We dreamed of this day for years. Our goal was to raise $25,000 each for our beneficiaries and, through the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and spectators, we were able to better that goal.”

That first event raised $70,000 for our non-profits, while our second event in 2023 raised over $100,000! And we're setting the bar even higher for 2026, so we'd love your support.

Thank you for your support!
