About Make a Donation in Memory or Honor of Someone

A charitable donation or creating a page in someone’s name is a thoughtful way to recognize or celebrate a person.  All tribute gifts allow you to express appreciation, honor a loved one’s memory or in lieu of flowers while supporting a cause like The Jason Foundation.

To get started follow the step by step instructions here

How to donate in someone's memory or honor

There are two options for donating to The Jason Foundation:

  • Make a memorial or honor donation online: Dedicate a gift to The Jason Foundation in the name of someone. A tribute card can be emailed or mailed in recognition of the contribution.
  • Create a memorial or honorable fundraiser page: Honor someone by starting a memorial fundraiser and encouraging gifts to The Jason Foundation.

How we notify the honoree's family

  • If you select an electronic tribute card, we will email the card to the email address you provide on the date you choose. Our email may fall into a SPAM or Junk folder, so please ask the recipient to check this folder for their card.
  • If you select a mailed tribute card, we will send the card to the provided mailing address. However, the card may take 2-4 weeks to arrive due to postal delays.
  • If you create a memorial fundraiser, you will receive a notification for every gift. In addition, you can share the fundraiser's progress through a personalized link.

About The Jason Foundation

The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) is dedicated to the awareness and prevention of youth and young adult suicide by providing educational programs and resources that empower students, parents, educators, and the community to be better able to recognize and assist at-risk individuals.

JFI believes that awareness and education are essential first steps in prevention. They offer programs and resources targeting the main areas of influence on a young person’s life. The goal is to identify and assist at-risk youth in getting professional help. There is no intention to diagnose or treat suicidal thoughts.

All Jason Foundation programs and resources are available to the public at no cost. About 98% of their donations go directly to programs that help the community recognize warning signs and prevent the silent epidemic of youth suicide.
