Dear {{firstName}},

Your participation in the Polar Plunge goes far beyond checking “Do something crazy” off your bucket list. While you are psyching yourself up to seize the freeze, know that you are changing lives. Meet Special Olympics athlete, Mike Dykman;

Mike had it pretty tough in school. Because he was in a Special Ed class, kids made fun of him and he didn't have many friends. He was called every bad name in the book and always felt bad about himself

Mike

But lucky for Mike, he discovered Special Olympics and instantly found a place where he was accepted just the way he was. Today, Mike is an amazing athlete, outstanding spokesperson for Special Olympics and a loyal friend and teammate. He is just one example of the remarkable difference Special Olympics makes, and you are helping to make that happen.

Your support matters! Here is the link to your fundraising page {{participantEditUrl}}. Share your progress with your friends and family and invite them to support your fundraising efforts!

Thank you!
