Glioblastoma is the most common type of brain cancer and typically carries a prognosis of only 12-15 months, with standard of care treatment of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. At this time GBM has no known cause and no cure, and very few advancements to improve survival have occurred in the last 20 years.
The Kvisle fund for GBM exists to create awareness, support families facing this disease, and ultimately raise funds to assist in advancing treatment options and research to help find a cure for Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Cancer.
