About UWYC 60th Birthday Blowout

United Way of Yellowstone County was founded in 1961. For 60 years we have seen Yellowstone County through hard times and happy ones, and we have been honored to be the vehicle that so many people have used to help each other and to receive help in our community.

The impact of COVID-19 has dramatically affected our ability to bring in funds that are needed to provide our programs, services and funding, at the same time that our community's needs are increasing. We need your support more than ever!

Our fundraising goal for our 60th Birthday is $60,000. That's a lot of candles, but we know you can help us light them!

Join us at www.uwyellowstone.org/60bdayblowout so you can:

  • Register for our free online auction which will start at 10am on March 26th!
    • Check back regularly as we will be adding new packages weekly!
  • Sponsor our event and show your support!
  • Purchase raffle tickets!
  • Share your UWYC Impact Story!
  • Be inspired to volunteer!

Our Birthday Blowout will culminate May 11-13 with a Diaper Drive to benefit Family Promise of Yellowstone Valley, a blood drive, and raffling of an exciting prize (stay tuned for an announcement)!

We'll be celebrating all month long, and there is no cost to participate—all are welcome!

Help us build a community where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.  Donate today!

By contributing to United Way of Yellowstone County, you are making a contribution to the future of Yellowstone County, your neighbors, and your fellow citizens. We know that our community is only as strong as our most vulnerable. When a child succeeds in school, a family is financially stable, people live healthy lives - we all win.

Workplace Campaigns

Make it a group effort. Each year over 150 companies run United Way campaigns in their workplace to garner support for United Way from their employees and build a spirt of philanthropy in their workplace. To learn more, contact Lisa McDaniel at (406) 272-8504 or lmcdaniel@uwyellowstone.org.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

United Way of Yellowstone County engages and inspires communities to create a shared vision for the future and set goals for collective action that produce positive results and improve lives.

  • We inspire others to LIVE UNITED - to give, advocate and volunteer.
  • We encourage volunteer and community involvement on priority issues.
  • We actively involve diverse groups who represent the community.
  • We utilize many community resources to implement strategies and achieve meaningful results.
  • We encourage philanthropic investments to achieve our goals and vision.

Empower Youth - Stabilize Families - Support Seniors

The work we accomplish within Yellowstone County Falls into three categories:

  1. Youth Empowerment through School Readiness and School Success initiatives
  2. Crisis Stabilization to prevent ongoing homeless within our communities
  3. Senior Independence to ensure our seasoned neighbors remain independent in the homes they love as long as possible.

Every dollar raised here stays here to improve the lives of everyone who call Yellowstone County home.

THANK YOU FOR LIVING UNITED
