About WAHS Woofstock 2020
Washington Area Humane Society was STOKED to host our first ever Woofstock – Pet Party in the Park this summer, but Covid-19 had other plans. While we are unable to host the largest pet festival in our area this year (WHAT A BUMMER), we are GONNA KEEP ON TRUCKIN’ so that everyone can join us from the comfort of their own CRIB!
CAN YOU DIG IT?
Woofstock is happening the entire month of October and it's going to be SLAMMIN! We invite you to participate in all our tail-wagging activities below.
HOW TO PAW-TICIPATE:
- FUNdraise for the animals of Washington Area Humane Society! Fundraise as an individual or join as a team to raise money for all of the shelter animals. Be sure to check out the "PRIZES" tab at the top of the page to view all of the NEAT prizes you could win!
- Shop local pet vendors from our vendor shop
- Purchase a $10 ticket (or more!) for our Retriever Raffle (basket valued at $500)
- Dress Up your pet for our GROOVY 60's/Woodstock Costume Contest
- Snap a picture or video of your pet(s) for our other contests! (Look-A-Like photo contest, Quarantine & Chill photo contest, Best Trick video contest, and Funniest Pet TikTok contest)
- Visit Adoption Row to find your new, four-legged best friend!

Join us on October 1st as we kick-off all of our tail-wagging activities. Grab your pooch and shop from all of our pet vendors, enter our retriever raffle, snag your pet mystery bag, snap a picture for our GROOVY pet photo contest, and enter other FAB contests.
Get PSYCHED because there is more!
Most importantly, register to fundraise for all of our BOMB animals at WAHS by joining as an individual or as a team. There will be some RAD prizes for the top dog!

LIKE, Washington Area Humane Society (WAHS) has been committed to Washington County’s most vulnerable animals for over 100 years. LIKE, As a non-profit that is 99% privately funded, WAHS relies heavily on the support of our community, YOU KNOW.
To continue providing shelter, safety, and food to over 1,000 animals each year, our events are crucial to the success of our mission. Because of the pandemic, we have had to cancel or re-think all of events this year. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
