Thank you for joining us in support of the Houston Zoo and Walk for the Wild! Your generous gift provides superb care for our animals while also saving species in wild places all around the world.

As we put the finishing touches on our Galápagos Islands exhibit, our partners on the islands are doing incredible work. Local island teens learn about the incredible wildlife that lives in the region, taking part in hands-on projects like beach cleanups and sea turtle nest monitoring. Teens taking part in the after school Mola Mola Club are so empowered to help save wildlife that they have even started their own wildlife-saving programs! Beyond the islands, we have many other partners doing phenomenal conservation work. From training Rwandan veterinarians who provide healthcare for wild rhinos to breed-and-release programs of the critically endangered Attwater’s prairie chickens taking place right here in Texas, your support of Walk for the Wild impacts people and animals around the globe.
