Eli

When Eli was in the middle of a mental health crisis, his family sought help. Together, Eli and his parents found the support they needed in Easterseals Iowa's Brain Health program. After walking his journey with Brain Health, Eli is sharing his story to end the stigma surrounding therapy.

Donisha

Donisha takes classes at DMACC as she pursues her dream of being a Dental Assistant. Since being with Easterseals Iowa, Donisha has made tremendous progress and displayed a stellar work ethic. In addition to being a full-time student, she works to support herself. 

"Keep pushing, keep trying, have faith. That's the biggest part of my life, to have faith; to put your mind to it. That's what motivates me the most." -Donisha

Dillon

Dillon loves to work with people. As a relentless self-advocate, he refused to let others dictate his story. Today, he has a great job in the community with DAV thrift store where he works to support himself.

Kamilla was a nominee for the 2022 Spirit Award. Her radiant positivity and infectious personality make Camp Sunnyside a special place for so many campers and counselors.
