WALK4HOPE2022

Who can participate in the WALK4HOPE?

Grant Us Hope welcomes supporters, Hope Squad members, advisors, friends, parents, school personnel and community members.  Anyone can register to participate to spread HOPE.

When does the WALK4HOPE take place?

Join others to WALK4HOPE on April 10, 2022 at 1pm. Or do your own walk anytime after you have registered to participate!  The final day of WALK4HOPE2022 is April 23, 2022.

Where do I do my walk?

The Walk Hub in the Cincinnati Area: Voice of America Athletic Complex. In the Dayton Area, head to the Fairmont High School track in Kettering, Ohio. Or… Walk with a small group at the place/time of your choice. All walks should take place on sidewalks in traffic-safe neighborhoods and can be part of your daily wellness plan. Please be aware of current safety restrictions as you plan where to do your walk.

Should I take pictures on my walk?

YES!  Capture your walk, what you are wearing, and where your walk is taking place.  Make sure to post your pictures to your Participant Page so everyone can see them on the WALK4HOPE2022 site.  Be sure to tag Grant Us Hope on your social media posts as well!

How do I solicit donations?

Register on the WALK4HOPE2022 website.

Create your Participant Page and send the link to friends, family members, teachers - anyone who might support your walk.

You can also set up automatic thank you messages to be sent when someone donates on your behalf!

Once you raise $25, you are eligible for a free WALK4HOPE t-shirt.

What should I do/wear?

Pick your route and when you want to do your walk, OR join us as we WALK AS ONE in our communities on Sunday, April 10 at 1:00PM.  Wherever you walk, make sure that it is in a safe location during daylight hours, and plan to walk with a friend or family member.

You should wear your WALK4HOPE shirt or Hope Squad apparel, and you may want to consider these additional actions to help raise awareness:

Write positive messages along your route with sidewalk chalk.

Make a handmade sign to carry sharing a crisis hotline number or a fact about youth mental health/suicide.

Be creative!  This is about drawing attention to the issues that are important as we work to save young lives, together.
