Over the last three years, the Barb Smith Suicide Resource & Response Network has experienced incredible annual growth. This growth is making significant regional and statewide impact. From 2017 to 2019 each year there was marked growth in provision of training and resources to the community:

2017

· 6 After care presentations with 1655 individuals attending.

· 6 Yellow Ribbon School Awareness trainings, with 2,377 attendees.

· 18 Awareness trainings with 2,616 attendees.

· Provided 27 safeTALK (Tell, ASK, Listen, Keepsafe) trainings, ensuring 676 people can recognize and respond to those who might be having thoughts of suicide.

· 5 ASIST (applied suicide intervention skills training), two-day evidence-based trainings with 148 total attendees

· Over 7,472 people in 2017 have attended one of our trainings or presentations.

· Provided resources and assistance to 1,536 individuals.

2018

· 9 After care presentations with 1008 individuals attending.

· 8 Yellow Ribbon School Awareness trainings, with 2,240 attendees.

· 21 Awareness trainings with 1,625 attendees.

· Provided 29 safeTALK (Tell, ASK, Listen, Keepsafe) trainings, ensuring 616 people can recognize and respond to those who might be having thoughts of suicide.

· 6 ASIST (applied suicide intervention skills training), two-day evidence-based trainings with 157 total attendees

· Over 5,646 people in 2018 have attended one of our trainings or presentations.

· Provided resources and assistance to 1,536 individuals.

2019

· 4 After care presentations with 292 individuals attending.

· 10 Yellow Ribbon School Awareness trainings, more than 1,600 people.

· 22 Awareness trainings and 1,000 participants.

· Provided 55 safeTALK (Tell, Ask, Listen, Keepsafe) trainings, ensuring over 1,500 people can recognize and respond to those who might be having thoughts of suicide.

· 11 ASIST (applied suicide intervention skills training), two-day evidence-based trainings with 330 attendees.

· Over 4,722 attended one of our trainings or presentations.

· Provided resources and assistance to 900 individuals.
