Benefiting the Zoo and its nonprofit partner, the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA), Walk for the Wild is an adventure of discovery and meaning that starts from the moment a participant registers to become a Walker. In the lead-up to the main event at the L.A. Zoo on Saturday, February 25, 2023, Walkers will learn about efforts to save threatened animal species around the world while getting inspiration and information to boost peer-to-peer fundraising and team recruitment.
At the event, a moving opening ceremony will get the crowd energized for an early-morning journey through the Zoo's lush grounds, with views of elephants, giraffes, and more. Post-walk, relax and recharge in the Walk for the Wild Village. If you'd like your Zoo adventure to continue beyond the event's conclusion at 9:45 a.m., you can purchase discounted general admission tickets when you register.
To get started, simply register as an individual, create your own team or join one, and begin fundraising today to maximize your impact on the future of wildlife.
Use your influence and reap rewards! With the resources and tools available to you, fundraising is easy. The more you raise, the bigger your impact and the more rewards you’ll earn.
