Walk to Save Animals

A step for Blank Park Zoo; a stride for wildlife.

I am so excited to Walk to Save Animals at the Blank Park Zoo! Please join me in my walk and raise funds for the Blank Park Zoo, with a portion of all revenue impacting their global and local conservation efforts. 

As a former intern at the Blank Park Zoo, I've experienced how impactful this small zoo in Iowa is on conservation efforts around the globe. Blank Park Zoo supports dozens of organizations, including:

• The International Rhino Foundation
• The Giraffe Conservation Foundation
• The Hornbill Research Foundation
• Conservation Fusion (lemurs and tortoises)
• The Tiger Conservation Campaign
• The Wildlife Conservation Society
• The Green Gully Project (wallabies)
• And so much more...

Please consider donating to the Blank Park Zoo and support environmental and wildlife conservation. Here's what your contribution can do:

• $25 can purchase native wildflowers and help save Iowa's pollinators
• $50 can help feed corals that were rescued from the coral tissue loss disease affecting Florida's reefs
• $75 can help support statewide education outreach program expenses
• $100 can go toward feeding and caring for the zoo's birds, many of whom represent vulnerable and near threatened species
• $200 can help support global initiatives like the Tiger Conservation Campaign
• $500 can support hay for a month for the Eastern black rhinos that call BPZ home
