Who is Beanie?

Dakin's incredible volunteer-run Kitten Street Team rescued a little kitten, named Beanie, and her siblings before a winter storm in January 2022. This was the same year that Dakin's first-ever Will Run For Cookies 5k was held. It was in honor of Beanie that participants raised money- to help keep more kittens like her warm and safe.

While Beanie now lives comfortably with her adoptive family, there are many more animals that need our help. By fundraising for Dakin you can continue to help us care for kittens, cats, and dogs.
