“WISH WRANGLER” RAFFLE RULES AND REGULATIONS

You could win a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport Altitude 4x4, valued at $41,675! Stylish for cruising around the city or back roads, the Wish Wrangler is designed so you can discover new adventures. Features include an 8-speed automatic transmission, bright white clear–coat exterior paint, black interior cloth seats, and a Black Freedom Top® 3-piece hard top. The vehicle also comes technology equipped with Uconnect® 4 with 7–Inch Display, Google Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay®. Enter the raffle by purchasing a ticket for $100 USD at wishwrangler.org, by phone at (704) 339-0334, or at special events where “Wish Wrangler” tickets are available. Up to 1,500 tickets will be sold. The Raffle will begin on September 1, 2019 and end on November 4, 2019. The drawing will take place on November 5, 2019. Please note: winner is responsible for all associated taxes and fees. $10,000 cash prize buyout option available.

Eligibility
The “Wish Wrangler” Raffle is offered only in the U.S. and is open only to legal residents of the U.S., except as excluded below. The raffle is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Ticket purchaser must be an individual 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the purchaser (or buyer) of the ticket. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. In the event of a winning entry having more than one name, MAW CWNC will award the prize to the first name listed on the ticket. MAW CWNC, Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (LKN CDJR), and respective employees, board members, along with members of their families, are not eligible to participate.
MAW CWNC will comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including, but not limited to all applicable income tax reporting and tax withholding requirements imposed by the Internal Revenue Service, the North Carolina Department of Revenue, and other applicable taxing authorities. By entering the Raffle, the ticket purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by, the official Rules and Regulations.
How to Enter & Odds of Winning
The cost to purchase a single entry ("ticket") for the Raffle is $100 USD. Raffle ticket purchases are not donations and are not tax deductible. All entries are final and non-refundable; and an entry cannot be canceled once processed. A maximum of 1,500 tickets will be sold. Entrants may purchase as many tickets as they wish, subject to availability. Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received, with maximum odds of 1-in-1,500.
The Raffle will begin at 12:00am EST on September 1, 2019 and end at 11:59pm EST on November 4, 2019, or when all 1,500 tickets are sold, whichever occurs first. Entries received outside of this time frame will not be considered. Tickets may be purchased online at wishwrangler.org, by phone at (704) 339-0334, or in-person at the MAW CWNC offices or at special events where MAW CWNC staff are present and “Wish Wrangler” Raffle ticket purchasing is available. Tickets may not be purchased from funds received via mail, nor will the Foundation mail tickets to purchasers via mail.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that accurate first name, last name, a valid deliverable mailing address, current email address, and contact phone number are provided. MAW CWNC, LKN CDJR, and respective board, staff, representatives and members shall have NO liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible tickets or tickets without proper payment received, in which case tickets shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified.
Prize & Winner Notification
The drawing will occur at approximately 1:00pm EST on November 5, 2019 at the Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte Hotel at the Foundation’s 2019 Charlotte W.I.S.H. Society Luncheon. The winner does not need to be present to win. Winner is entitled to receive a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport Altitude 4x4, valued at $41,675. Features include an 8-speed automatic transmission, bright white clear–coat exterior paint, black interior cloth seats, and a Black Freedom Top® 3-piece hard top. The vehicle also comes technology equipped with Uconnect® 4 with 7–Inch Display, Google Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay®. Winner must comply with all terms stated in the “Wish Wrangler” Raffle Rules and Regulations.
WINNER ASSUMES AND MUST PAY ALL APPLICABLE TAXES, TITLE, AND FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRIZE AND IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR TAX OF 25% OF THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE PRIZE, $41,675. The winner is solely responsible for all other costs incurred in claiming and using the car, including, without limitation, costs associated with state emissions standards compliance, costs of insurance, and other unspecified costs of ownership.
Prize Buyout Option: In lieu of accepting the above described prize of the 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport Altitude 4x4, winner may choose an agreed buyout option of $10,000.00 and forfeit any further claim to the prize. If a winner has selected the cash buyout option, no Jeep will be awarded. The winner will be responsible for any and all taxes on the cash amount awarded. No further compensation shall be due and no difference in the prize value and buyout option will be paid.THE PRIZE IS NON-EXCHANGEABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
MAW CWNC will attempt to notify the winner by email or phone of the prize won and any requisite procedure to claim the prize. Preliminary winner will have 30 calendar days from the applicable drawing date to inform MAW CWNC of their acceptance, provide proof of eligibility, claim, and take possession of the prize. If the winner is unable to be contacted, or the prize remains unclaimed or unaccepted after such 30-day period, the preliminary winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and an alternate winner will be selected. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Rules and Regulations, the winner's prize will be forfeited and MAW CWNC shall be entitled to select another winner.
Publicity Rights:
By entering the “Wish Wrangler” Raffle, entrants accept and agree to be bound by all the rules, limitations and restrictions set forth here. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow MAW CWNC, LKN CDJR, or their designees the perpetual right to use winner’s name, biographical information, photos, likeness, and statements for the promotion, trade, commercial, advertising, and publicity purposes, worldwide, at any time or times, in all media now or hereafter developed, including but not limited to radio, television, the internet, without notice, review, or approval and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Tampering; Limitations of Liability:
MAW CWNC is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, including, without limitation, that which is caused by web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the drawing or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the drawing. MAWCWNC assumes no responsibilities for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, or defection, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or processing the drawing entries. MAW CWNC is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. If, for any reason, the drawing is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of MAW CWNC which, in MAW CWNC’s sole discretion could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the drawing, MAW CWNC may, in their sole discretion, cancel the drawing and return/refund all entries or select the winner in a random drawing comprised of all eligible entries received prior to (and/or after, if appropriate) the action taken by MAW CWNC. MAW CWNC reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing.
Agreement to Official Rules; Release; Indemnification:
Ticket purchasers, by participating (and winner, by entering the raffle,) release and waive any claims against MAW CWNC, LKN CDJR, Jeep, FCA US LLC, and its respective board, staff, committee members, sponsors, volunteers and service agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, for any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness. Any liability of these parties shall be limited to ticket price paid and in the case of any dispute, MAW CWNC decision shall be final. MAW CWNC reserves the right to modify or amend the “Wish Wrangler” Raffle official rules and regulations without notice at any time.
