YMCA Dallas 2021 Annual Campaign Supporting YMCA Dallas

Jordan is fundraising for the White Rock YMCA so that each and every child in her community is given the chance to participate in our sports programs!
I was introduced to the YMCA at an early age, attending the Waco Family YMCA for swimming lessons and winter birthday pool-parties. The Y and its mission always had a special place in my heart and so my senior year of high school, I decided to work at the Waco Y as a lifeguard and did so into my Sophomore year of College.
Upon graduating from Texas A&M University's graduate program a few years later, I obtained part-time positions at the McKinney Family YMCA as a Member Services Representative, Child Watch attendant, and School Age Services group leader. I loved all of these positions and working for the YMCA and so I decided to try to make this special opportunity full-time. Soon after, I got my current position as Associate Sports Director of the Lake Highlands and White Rock YMCAs where I get the special privilege of programming a multitude of sports to the local community youth.
My favorite thing about the YMCA is that as a nonprofit organization, all of the funds that we produce are given right back to our community members. I love that each and every child is given the chance to participate and excel in our sports programs as we do not turn down children the opportunity to participate in our programs simply because they do not obtain the financial means to pay for them.
As an employee for the White Rock YMCA, I am currently fundraising for the YMCA's Annual campaign to make sure that everyone in our community has access to vital community programs and resources that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Please help me assist our local youth the opportunity of our memberships and sports programs by donating to the YMCA.
Thank you!
