What are the distances I can complete for the Summer Tri Fest?

There are three types of races you can complete, a triathlon, a duathlon and an aquabike. For each type of race there are three distances, olympic, sprint and supersprint. Below is the full list of races with all distances:

Triathlon

Olympic: Swim 1,000 yd, Bike 31 mi, Run 10k

Sprint: Swim 500 yd, Bike 15.5 mi, Run 5k

Supersprint: Swim 200 yd, 7 mi, Run 1mi

Duathlon

Olympic: Run 10k, Bike 15.5 mi, Run 10k

Sprint: Run 5k, Bike 15.5 mi, Run 5k

Supersprint: Run 1 mi, Bike 7 mi, Run 1mi

Aquabike

Olympic: Swim 1,000 yd, Bike 31 mi

Sprint: Swim 500 yd, Bike 15.5 mi

Supersprint: Swim 200 yd, Bike 7mi


Can i complete multiple race types and/or distances?

Yes, you can complete as many race types and/or distances you would like. When you sign up just select one and then when you submit your race time, you are able to submit the times for the different race types/distances.


Can I complete a relay with my friends/family?

Yes, you are still able to create a relay team with others and now that it's virtual you can have anyone (no matter the distance) on your team! We suggest when you register to create a New Team. After you enter all of your information and pick your distance make sure you answer the question about being on a relay team. The next step in the registration process is to add more participants and these individuals will be the other racers on your team.


How do I complete the race?

With the virtual format there is more flexibility for how you complete the race. 

  • You do not have to complete each race leg back-to-back. 
  • If you prefer to walk instead of run, that's ok.

How do I submit my finish times?

Starting on July 27th, our timing partner MTEC will be sending out emails to all registered individuals with a link to submit your time online. All submissions need to be received by 11:59pm on August 9.
