Bottle and Can Drive – Decorate a collection box to leave at work or school, and recycle the bottles and cans at a local grocery store
Casino night – Gamble for a good cause!
Dinner for a Cause – have a local restaurant donate a portion of their business for the day to your fundraising page
Garage Sale – Get some spring cleaning done with your teammates, and gather your extras at one house for a garage sale.
Party at Your House – Host a party for friends, family, and team members. Pick a fun theme, and encourage donations!
Karaoke Night – Host an event where you can pay to have a friend sing. The person chosen to since can always donate more money to NOT sing!
Movie Night – Have your team host a movie night with an entrance fee. A mini projector an a white sheet hung up outside, plus popcorn and candy for sale!
Connect with your Community
Send a mailing – People love to receive letters in the mail! Tell them why you have decided to run, and include a self addressed envelope for the donation.
Email everyone you know (from across the street to across the globe!)
Share on social media – Share your participant page, and let everyone know that you’re running for the Rosamond Gifford Zoo
Build a team – Encourage your friends to join you on the day or virtually!
Hand out flyers – At work, school, or around town.
