Embracing music, engaging community, enriching lives...
We know that music has the power to bring people together, to make our community healthier and to improve the quality of life for our neighbors. The ICC’s Sing-A-Thon gives us all a chance to show everyone in our community the power of music and the benefits that can come from making music all while raising money for our programs and outreach efforts throughout the year.
On Saturday, February 22, 2020, ICC current singers, parents, alumni, supporters, friends corporate partners and other community members will come together to SING and make music via a live broadcast on the ICC website and Facebook page. Participants will sing and make music as part of teams, as individuals and as part of a mass choir experience.
Here are ways that you can participate:
- Join or form a fundraising team
- Give individually or ask friends or family to do the same
- Sing individually or as a group; audition required
Ex: duets, trios, quartets, or large choral groups
- Help spread the word on social media using #ICCSingathon
You do not need to sing to participate.
Music has the power to bring our community together - and that's what ICC's Sing-A-Thon is all about. Josh Pedde, ICC's Artistic Director, tells us why the Sing-A-Thon is important!
The more you fund-raise the more points you'll earn towards cool prizes and the more you'll help your team and our mission.
Raise at least $25 and you'll receive the official event T-Shirt.
Raise $100 and you will also receive a sweet Sing-A-Thon water bottle.
Raise $250 and you will also receive an awesome Sing-A-Thon lunch bag.
Raise $500 and you will also receive an ICC bluetooth speaker.
Don't want to sing a solo or perform with a group? Be part of our MASS CHOIR EXPERIENCE!
Master Chorale will join others just like you to learn a simple song to perform on Facebook Live. It is a very low stress/no-judgement environment. We just want you to experience the power that music has to bring people together!
It will all take place at the Sing-A-Thon Event on February 22, 2020 at 7:30 PM at Shelton Auditorium on the Butler South Campus.
We will learn a simple song together and then perform it on Facebook Live at 8 PM.
