The ROCKRIDE was created in 2004, after founders Bob & Lori Thomas lost their daughter Samantha to Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma just before her third birthday. The annual event has raised over $536,000 for childhood cancer research, as directed by the C17 Research Fund & Childhood Cancer Canada. The C17 Fund directly supports various research projects at the 17 Children’s hospitals across Canada.
R.O.C.K. will return in 2022 to be a normal single-day event, set for July 2. This year is a Yahtzee Run, with dice rolls at Start, Finish, midpoint bbq, and 2 other stops. The prize for the highest Yahtzee score is a Helicopter Tour for Two, courtesy of Niagara Helicopter. Our grand prize is $500 in Gas Cards - 1 ballot for every $50 in donations. See "Event Details" for full info.
