2023 Women Swimmin' for Hospicare supporting Hospicare & Palliative Care Services

I'm swimming to raise money for hospice care, which provides essential support to people at the end of life and their families.
In 2013 I did women swimming for the first time. I joined because I wanted to challenge myself to swim across Cayuga Lake. I had a friend who was watching her father go through cancer and if he could fight it I could cross a lake. That year I had an amazing team of people from the UU church in Ithaca.
I am excited to swim again on the 20th anniversary of Women Swimming and my fourth swim I know so much more about the Hospicare. I am am honored to swim for such an amazing organization. On August 12 I will jump in the lake and swim in honor of those who we have lost and in support of those people still fighting.
