2023 Women Swimmin' for Hospicare

Women Swimmin' for Hospicare is a community event that raises money for Hospicare & Palliative Care Services.

I participate each year in Women Swimmin' for Hospicare in memory of my mother who was a Hospicare nurse in Washington State. She was the happiest when she was helping the patients, their families and their friends. Hospicare also helped me by providing free counseling sessions and support groups when my mother died ten years ago. It provided the help I needed that I couldn’t find any place else.

This year I am also participating in memory of my best friend Blake who died in last year in Utah at the age of 55. I am also participating in memory of my inspiring Grandmother who recently passed away at the age of 96. Hospice was there, until the end, helping each of them to feel comfort and peace.

I am proud and grateful to be able to contribute to the organization that helps so many, in so many ways, by supporting Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare. It is a very special and unique organization.
