Competition Points 

Have some fun leading up to race day by earning points and winning prizes!

Points can be earned by fundraising, self-donations, recruiting friends to join, and completing activities on your Walk for the Wild page. Every point earned gets you closer to earning Milestone Rewards & winning Competitions.

How to Earn Points: 

Fundraising

You will earn 1 point for each dollar raised, and additional points when you hit “Milestones”. These Milestones are:

• $250 Raised: 50 Points
• $500 Raised: 100 Points
• $1,000 Raised: 200 Points
• $2,500 Raised: 250 Points
• $5,000 Raised: 350 Points

There is no limit to the number of fundraising points you can earn.

Self-Donations

You will earn 1 point for each dollar you personally donate, and additional points when you hit Milestones. These Milestones are:

• $25 Donation: 10 Points
• $50 Donation: 20 Points
• $100 Donation: 30 Points

Please note, these are self-donations, not fundraising efforts. There is no limit to the number of self-donation points you can earn.

Recruitment

You will earn 25 points for each friend you recruit! Your Walk for the Wild page will track all of your recruitment, so make sure to go to your page and click “Register” and send a link to your friends via e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter to get them to join.

1 Friend Recruited: 25 Point

There is no limit to the number of recruitment points you can earn.

Completing Activities 

You can earn points by completing activities on your Walk for the Wild page. These activities include fundraising, making donations, posting photos at the Zoo to your Walk for the Wild page, sharing how you're saving animals in the wild, and many more! Click on “Complete Activities” on your Walk for the Wild page to start earning points.
