Overall Competition Prizes
Your party of 4 will enjoy a beautiful morning of painting with our elephants! You will get to see behind the scenes of the elephant barn, feed our elephants some of their favorite treats, and watch them create a beautiful masterpiece to take home with you.
This prize will be awarded to the participant that raises the most funds for Walk for the Wild 2024. Participants can be part of a team, but the winner will be determined by the fundraising on their individual fundraising page.
*Maximum of (4) guests, at least 1 adult per child. Tours must be scheduled on a mutually agreed date with at least 3 weeks notice. Tours are available Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM, and cannot be scheduled on holidays, weekends or Spring Break. Tours are non-transferrable, cannot be combined with any other event or auction item and are subject to change based on the health & safety of our animals as determined by our animal care teams. Must be redeemed by April 21, 2025. Winner will be selected on April 19 at 4:00 PM.
You and your team will be invited to feed our giraffe herd on the Giraffe Feeding Platform during Walk for the Wild! Enjoy a private feeding experience & chance to chat with a Houston Zoo staff member about our giraffes.
This prize will be awarded to the team that raises the most funds for Walk for the Wild 2024.
*Zoo experience is only for team leader & registered group members. Date and time of experience cannot be changed. Feeding Experience must be redeemed on April 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM, is non- transferable and non-refundable. Team must follow instructions provided by the Development department prior to Walk for the Wild to redeem prize. Winner will be selected on April 19 at 4:00 PM.
Your party of 4 will enjoy a behind the scenes tour and feeding experience with our giraffe herd! You will get to go behind the scenes of the giraffe barn, feed our giraffes some of their favorite treats, and learn about them from an expert Zookeepers.
This prize will be awarded to the participant that earns the most points on their Walk for the Wild Page. Participants can be part of a team, but the winner will be determined by the points earned on their individual fundraising page.

Point Prizes
All participants will be entered to win prizes as they reach each of these point levels. We will select (3) winners at each level following the walk on April 21, 2024. Prizes will be emailed/mailed to winning participants after Walk for the Wild. All points will be tracked through your individual Walk for the Wild fundraising page.
150 Points: (2) Houston Zoo Conservation Bracelets
300 Points: (4) Giraffe Feeding Tickets
500 Points: (1) Reserved Parking space for a day at the Houston Zoo (valid for (1) vehicle for (1) day)
1,000 Points: (4) Zoo Lights Tickets (Valid for the full season)
1,500 Points: Family Membership at the Zoo (Valid for (1) year of membership)
*All point prizes will be mailed/emailed to winners following Walk for the Wild on April 21, 2024 along with any instructions/restrictions for redemption. Winners at each level will be selected randomly. Each participant that earns points at the above levels will receive (1) entry at each level they have achieved. Giraffe Feeding & Zoo Lights tickets will be valid for (1) year. Reserved parking spaces must be requested (1) week in advance, and must be redeemed by April 21, 2025. Family membership must be redeemed by April 21, 2025, and is valid for (1) year of membership after redemption.
