The Down Syndrome Association of South Texas (DSASTX) is thrilled to announce that the 26th Annual Walk and Stroll of South Texas will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, at River City Community Church. Our Walk began as an opportunity to promote awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for people with Down syndrome. Twenty-six years later, we are still spreading the word and making a significant impact in our community.

This one-mile walk is a family event and will include onsite activities such as music, face painting, inflatables, a train, petting zoo, exhibitor booths, and food trucks!

Not only is this event a fun-filled day for our individuals, families, friends, and the community, it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. The DSASTX is proud to serve over 1,400 children and adults with Down syndrome by providing support through ongoing programming, resources, and events for our families.
