Welcome to our AIDS Walk Visalia "How To" page.
The event's Home Page is where you can donate, register individually or as a team, as well as see any updates the event may have.
The first thing that you might notice, if you attended the event last year, is that the Home Page is a much more simplified version compared to last year's. We want participants to not be overwhelmed and to be able to jump right into the fun.
We're making use of our navigation bar up top for participants to easily see what's happening, to get involved, or learn a little bit about our organization and this event.
How to register and start fundraising:
-The easiest way is to click on the "Register as an Individual" button that's on the Challenge Card on our Home Page
-Once you do that you'll be directed to the registration page and will be asked to sign in or make an account.
-Next step is to fill in your information. At the bottom of the form you'll see some "optional" fields, this is where you can give credit to someone who invited you and even say a few words as to why you are participating that will be added to your personal page.
-The next step is Your Registration. Start by selecting what you're registering for, 5K Run, Walking, or Just Fundraising. After that you're going to fill in your demographic information, all of which we will be kept in-house for organizational use and not shared with any outside parties. At the bottom of the page you'll need accept our waiver and then click "next" to move forward.
-The next page is for when you have any any additional registrations to do, such as a child, spouse/partner, or anyone else who would want to register at that time.
-You will now move on to the payment screen. Which is where you will fill in your name, billing address and credit card information.
-After this you will confirm your registration information and submit it. You'll be given the option to make a donation on top of your registration fee as well as the option to cover the processing fee.
-After clicking "Finish" you will be directed to your own personal fundraising page! Follow the walk through and finish setting up or If you don't have time to set up there are default page settings already built in for ease of use.
-You can direct friends, family and community members to this page so they can make donations on your behalf and you can even start or join a team from here, invite friends or ask for donations.
