By participating in Bowl for Kids' Sake 2024, YOU help inspire, ignite, and defend the potential of youth in McHenry County. The Littles in our program come from various backgrounds, but ALL are in need of a positive, adult mentor who will help them discover the best possible version of themselves. Kids who have a mentor are:

More likely to think about their future and college
More likely to have an increase in self-confidence
More likely to do better in school & exhibit better classroom behavior
Less likely to use illegal drugs or drink underage

Mentors make an immense impact on the life of a child. At BBBS, we recruit, screen, and match volunteers with a child and continue to monitor, coach, and support the relationship over the coming months and years. In McHenry County, we currently serve 500 children across 3 programs: Community Based Mentoring, Lunch Time Mentoring, and After School Mentoring.
