ABOUT CHEFS CYCLE
Chefs Cycle brings together chefs, hospitality professionals, business leaders, cyclists and No Kid Hungry supporters for an unforgettable cycling and fundraising experience.
From June 7-9, 2027, riders will gather in Bend, Oregon, for two days of riding through Central Oregon. Riders choose between 50- and 100-mile routes each day and move at their own pace with full support along the way. This is a challenge, not a race.

Each rider commits to raising at least $4,500 for No Kid Hungry, combining a meaningful physical challenge with one shared goal: helping ensure every child in America has the food they need to thrive.
Registration includes two nights at The Riverhouse Lodge, meals throughout the event, fully supported routes, an official Chefs Cycle jersey, nightly Family Meals and closing celebration.
MORE THAN A BIKE RIDE
Chefs Cycle is built around the belief that everyone has a strength to share.
For some, that strength comes from the culinary world. For others, it is a passion for cycling, the ability to bring people together or the willingness to take on something difficult for a cause that matters.
The event gives chefs, hospitality professionals, business leaders and No Kid Hungry supporters a chance to step away from their kitchens and offices, spend meaningful time on the bike and form new friendships around a shared purpose.
It is also a full culinary experience. Riders enjoy chef-prepared dinners, thoughtful programming, stocked rest stops, plenty of snacks and finish-line treats. The Rider Village is open daily, with sponsor experiences and recovery support, including massage, ice baths, yoga and IV hydration, or a dip in the Deschutes River. Family and friends can join the celebration.
Training resources, fundraising tools and a supportive community will help you prepare throughout the year. During the event, rest stops, mechanical assistance and SAG support will be with you from start to finish.
You do not need to be a chef or an elite cyclist to participate. You need a bike, a willingness to prepare and a reason to ride.
THE CHEFS CYCLE COMMUNITY
Ask returning riders what makes Chefs Cycle special, and they will rarely talk only about the miles.

They will tell you about the people who encouraged them up a climb, the relationships formed over long hours on the road and the experience of working toward something bigger than themselves.
Whether you join on your own or with a team, you will become part of a community that supports one another before, during and long after the ride.
OUR STORY
Chefs Cycle began with a bold idea: bring chefs out of their kitchens and onto their bikes to raise funds and awareness for children facing hunger.
What started as a small, unsupported ride from New York City to Washington, D.C. has grown into a national community of chefs, hospitality leaders, cyclists, corporate partners and advocates.
Over the past decade, riders have taken on routes across the country and raised millions of dollars for No Kid Hungry.

In 2026 alone, the Chefs Cycle community raised more than $1.3 million. Riders represented 29 states and several countries, and nearly half were participating for the first time.
The event has evolved, but its purpose remains the same: bring people together, take on a meaningful challenge and help create a future where no child in America goes hungry.
WHY WE RIDE FOR NO KID HUNGRY
Millions of children in America face hunger. Without reliable access to nutritious food, kids can struggle with their health, development and ability to learn.
No Kid Hungry works to ensure children have access to the food they need to grow and thrive. The campaign partners with schools and communities to expand programs such as school breakfast, afterschool meals and summer meals. It also provides grants, shares practical expertise and advocates for policies that make it easier for families to access food.
This mission has a natural connection to the chefs, hospitality professionals and food industry leaders who make up the Chefs Cycle community. They understand the power of food and believe every child deserves the nourishment and opportunity to reach their full potential.
Chefs Cycle riders help power this work. Every fundraising page shared, donation requested and mile completed raises critical funds, brings more people into the mission and moves us closer to a future where no child in America goes hungry.
