Your commitment today will help us continue to revolutionize cancer care in SWFL - bringing the latest in treatment technologies, therapies, counseling and more. Barbara's Friends, the pediatric cancer fund at Golisano, has helped more than 10,000 children in its 27-year history. Barbara's Friends was founded as the dying wish of Barbara Haskell. Her mother, Betty, and father, Frank Haskell started the fund shortly after her death so that no child would suffer the ills of cancer without every resource possible at their fingertips. Today more than 90 children are on active cancer treatment at Golisano. More than 75% of our patients are under insured or uninsured. This year we've expanded our Naples Clinic and in October will start to serve patients five days a week, closer to home in Collier County. This is all because of YOUR support and philanthropy.
