Willkie Days Five in 50 Covered Bridge Ride

Come for the Ride - Stay for the Weekend!  

Willkie Days provides fun for the entire family with a whole weekend of activities.  This includes:

  • ​The Rush County Historical Society Museum at 619 N Perkins will be open from noon-3pm.  Come learn more about the Kennedy family that built our bridges and see the sales model that was built for meetings with prospective clients.
  • From 2-4pm, the Rush County Genealogical Society will be hosting a Scavenger hunt at East Hill cemetery for ages 10-adult.  Prizes will be given for 1st ($50), second, ($35) and third  ($20) places.  This cemetery at 704 E State Road 44  was established in 1859 is the resting place of Wendell Willkie.
