MAKE A DIFFERENCE LOCALLY

Housing Assistance invites you to Give Hope Where You Live (GHWYL)! In the spirit of the season, sign-up to Host a Donation Drive and start collecting essential items + gift cards that will GIVE HOPE to our neighbors in need.

As the days grow shorter and the weather grows colder, we ask you to join us on the frontlines of the Cape and Islands' housing crisis. The items on our GHWYL Wishlist may seem small (e.g. Items for Daily Living, Shelter Guest Care Packages, Welcome Home Baskets) but for someone experiencing homelessness or moving into permanent housing, these items represent comfort, dignity, and a new start.

Housing Assistance will engage our community virtually throughout the Give-A-Thon. This fundraising campaign will celebrate our supporters who are organizing drives and giving in inspiring ways.

GHWYL CELEBRATION & COLLECTION EVENT

Wednesday, December 10th from 3-5 PM

Housing Assistance - Pavilion (255 Independence Drive, Hyannis)

You're invited to the 3rd Annual Give Hope Where You Live Celebration & Collection event at our Hyannis Office from 3-5 PM. Drop off your donations then join us under the pavilion for warm refreshments and music as we celebrate our collective impact.

*Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a $25 Stop & Shop gift card. These gifts are requested all year-round as they enable locals to purchase groceries and gas.

WAYS TO GIVE HOPE

HOST A DONATION DRIVE

Register Your Drive by December 1 - Our team will reach out to confirm your drive and share the Donation Drive Toolkit.
Plan Your Drive - Review the GHWYL Wishlist, decide what items you want to collect, and set goals. Housing Assistance can only accept new, unopened items for our clients.
Start Your Drive - Collect items anytime leading up to December 10. Coordinate your own collection or invite your supporters to deliver donations during the GHWYL Celebration & Collection (12/10).

GIVE GIFT CARDS

Give the gift of choice to locals experiencing homelessness and housing instability. To get started, check out the Gift Card Drives Flyer + Form.

Holiday Gift Cards give parents the opportunity to purchase holiday presents for their children.
Hardship Gift Cards give individuals and families in crisis the opportunity to meet basic needs.
