It only takes one caring adult to change a child’s life. Tragically, one in nine children will experience abuse before their 18th birthday. You can help children feel safe and brave by recognizing the signs - and by being their one person.

During April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month, more than 500 motorcyclists come together for the Annual Great Teddy Bear Run. Hundreds of teddy bears are collected and donated to children from ten counties served by the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center: a place where children receive trauma-informed care, compassionate support, and expert services from a multidisciplinary team dedicated to stopping abuse, supporting healing, and strengthening the prosecution of offenders.

Location Start: The Warren County Justice Center (1001 Center Street)  

Location Finish: Harley Davidson (251 Cumberland Trace)

Length: 21 miles

Time: On-site Registration/ Check-in begins at 9:00 am.

We have changed our fundraising software over to One Cause, a more user friendly platform. With this, riders now have the capabilities to share their registration page as a personal fundraising platform. You can share your page with your families and friends; via text, email, or on your social medias. On top of paying for your registration for the ride, you can continue to champion for children in the Teddy Bear Run and your peer network can donate to your ride! We will have a prize for the individual that goes above and beyond that raises the most money on their personal fundraising page.

The ride starts at the Warren County Justice Center, turn left onto Center Street, turn left from Center Street to E. Main Street, turn right from E. Main to Kentucky Street, turn left from Kentucky to 6th/ Veterans Blvd, continue as Veterans becomes Campbell Lane and becomes Lovers Lane, turn right from Lovers Lane to Cemetery Rd, continue on Cemetery Rd across the I65 Bridge (THE RAMP WILL BE CLOSED) and turn right onto Cumberland Trace, continue on Cumberland Trace to the ending point of Harley Davidson Dealership.
