Double Your Donation Thursdays!
What is a "Match Day"?
During October on our Double Your Donation Thursdays, donations that you receive will be matched dollar for dollar until each match runs out! So a $100 donation will instantly become a $200 donation. A $25 donation will instantly become a $50 donation.
When these donations are made, the match will automatically be added to your page. Watch your fundraising thermometer go wild on match days!
Matches are limited to that specific match day amount and will continue until the funds are depleted. This year, our matches start at 12PM EST on the following days:
- Thursday, October 2nd at 12PM EST
- Thursday, October 9th at 12PM EST
- Thursday, October 23rd at 12PM EST
How Should I tell my friends about the match?

Text Message Example: Hi friend! There is a dollar-for-dollar donation match happening RIGHT NOW for Global Village Project's Welcome Walk! Will you consider doubling your impact on their mission by donating to my Walk fundraising page? (insert your walk page URL)

On November 1st, I will be participating in a Welcome Walk benefiting Global Village Project. Global Village Project is the only school in the U.S dedicated to serving newly arrived refugee girls. As a nonprofit middle school, GVP provides a tuition-free academic program that serves students from all over the world. The typical student has been in the U.S for less than three years and has missed an average of three to six years of school.
