PARKING
Option 1: Park at the starting line (Clarkston Market at 980 Rowland Street, Clarkston, GA 30021). Then at the finish line at the end of the walk, GVP buses will shuttle you back to your car starting at 12:30 p.m. (Park at the start, walk to finish, get bussed back to start). We suggest utilizing this option.
Option 2: Park at the finish line by 8:30am (Global Village Project, 205 Sycamore Street, Decatur, GA 30030). Then, a GVP bus will shuttle you to the starting line promptly at 8:40 a.m. -- don't be late! There is limited availability with this option, so it is first come first serve.
BUSES & BATHROOMS

There will be three (count 'em, three!) “Bus Stop” locations along the route (1-, 2-, and 3-mile markers) marked with a "Bus Stop" sign and balloons
Unless there is an emergency, please find one of these stops and wait for a shuttle to take you to the finish line.
If you can’t reach a bus stop, bus liaison contact info will be shared at check-in. For emergencies, call 911.
Bathrooms are available at starting and finish lines.

WHAT TO WEAR: PINK everything! Show your spirit in pink as we walk for the power and stories of refugee girls! Bright accessories, funky sunglasses, colorful socks, hats, boas—high-energy fun vibes! We LOVE corny, and it's a chance to continue the festive costume energy from Halloween. All pre-registered walkers receive a t-shirt. It will be chilly but sunny, so wear layers as you see fit.
DAY-OF REGISTRATION: Yes! Tell your friends that you can register day-of. If you are receiving this email directly, then you are registered. If someone forwarded it to you, then you can pre-register at gvpwalk.org or wait until the day. If you wait, T-shirts may become limited because registered walkers get priority.
PETS: Please leave furry friends at home out of respect for all participants from all different cultures. Dogs also aren't allowed on buses. Thank you for understanding!
ROUTE MAP: Check it out here! You can also take a picture of the map at check-in.
