Thanks for visiting my Hot Chocolate Run fundraising page! I'm participating in the 18th Annual Hot Chocolate Run on December 5 to support Safe Passage – the Hampshire County organization building safety, hope and justice for families who have lived with domestic violence. 

As many of you know, in 2013, I ran the Hot Chocolate Run for the very first time (which was also my very first 5k), in memory of Alyssiah Wiley.  Since then, I've participated every year (sometimes with one or both of my girls, and last year virtually).  Thanks to the generosity of my friends, family, and the Eastern community, I've been able to raise a total of $13,640 over the years.  I'm hoping to raise an additional $3,000 this year.

Safe Passage delivers an array of support, counseling and prevention services that offer safety, hope and healing to adults and children experiencing violence in Hampshire County and surrounding towns.

And that’s why I am committed to raising money through the Hot Chocolate Run.

Together, we can help meet the needs of the community members that Safe Passage serves through counseling, shelter, children’s services, legal advocacy, and so much more. During the pandemic, delivering those services is more challenging – and more expensive. But Safe Passage will be able to continue offering all its services free of charge to clients thanks to the generosity of everyone who responds to the Hot Chocolate Run this year.
