About The 27th Annual Hill Country Ride for AIDS

Welcome to the to the 27th Annual Hill Country Ride for AIDS!

We are so excited to start this year with you!  The HCRA is known for it's inclusive and active community and you are a huge part of it.  Ride Day is April 18th, 2026 and we've got the info you need below to get set up!

RIDE SEASON IS HERE!  Registration is open and training season is around the corner.  Here's how to get started!

  • Start and build your team!  - You don't have to be a part of a team.  We have plenty of solo-riders.   BUUUT, this is a social ride, so most of our activities are made even better when you experience them with friends.  The team can be comprised of riders, volunteers, or both! As a matter of fact, most of our team are a mix of both.  Lean in with your friends; host fundraisers, plan costumes, plan your camping (or just your day at Krause).  It's more fun when you make it yours.
  • Join our cycling club as we visit other ride groups and explore the city.  We are currently building out our Summer/Fall off-season schedule with rides that very in length, speed and intensity.  We'll post it on social media and the website very very soon!
  • Get a bike!  Got questions about where to get a bike?  Email us at info@hillcountryride.org and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.  You don't need a $100000000000000 bike to do this ride.  We have old, new, carbon fiber, steel-framed, electric...heck, even tandem bikes in our ride.  You'll see it all.
  • Start a birthday fundraiser.  We'd love to be your birthday fundraiser on instagram/facebook/meta....they make it pretty easy, and the dollars count towards your fundraising with hardly any work on your part!
