If you love the outdoors and hiking, bring your family, friends and co-workers and join the fun at the 10th Annual Hike for Hope at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore, California.
Enjoy beautiful scenery and the camaraderie of your fellow hikers and walkers as you hike for a great cause!
Hike for Hope is a fundraiser for Hope Hospice and a special celebration to remember loved ones and friends.
All net proceeds go to providing exceptional care and comfort to patients with life-limiting illnesses, caregiver support and guidance, grief support, dementia care and community education.
After your hike, enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs hot off the grill by the staff of MCE Corporation or feel free to bring your own picnic to enjoy with your family and friends.
Starting from the Fiesta Grande Picnic Area at Del Valle Regional Park, you'll choose from two trail options:
2.6 miles - An easy walk alongside beautiful Lake Del Valle.
4.4 miles - Adding just a bit more challenge, this route features a moderate incline loop that offers beautiful ridge top views of Mt. Diablo and the surrounding hills.
Minimize your entry gate wait time. Print your Hike for Hope parking pass in advance from your registration confirmation email. Use the left lane at the gate for express entry into the park. Only printed Hike for Hope passes will be accepted for express lane entry. Phone images of the pass are not accepted for entry. Please note: If you forget your pass, you will need to purchase a $6 parking pass at the gate using the right lane.
If you are registering the day of the event, the park's $6 parking fee can be paid on arrival at the gate using the right side lane only.
Leashed dogs are welcome. Please note that East Bay Regional Park charges a fee of $2 per dog, payable with cash only at the gate using the right side lane.

Hike for Hope is a celebration of the outdoors and, for many participants, a remembrance of family and other loved ones who have departed us. It's also a fundraiser for Hope Hospice, which has been caring for families throughout the Tri-Valley and neighboring East Bay cities since 1980.
All of the hike's net proceeds help Hope Hospice care for more than 650 patients and their families each year.
Hope helps patients affirm life and live every day to the fullest by providing high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care, grief support services, and community education.
As a community-driven non-profit organization, Hope Hospice serves everyone regardless of their insurance or income status, nation of origin, or religion. Your donation enables Hope to provide these services throughout the year.
As we celebrate our 40th Anniversary, help us continue to support others with exceptional care, compassion, and dignity. Help make a difference in your own community.
Hope Hospice is 501(c)(3) organization. Federal Tax ID 94-2576059.
Your support makes it possible for Hope to respond to the growing and diverse needs in our community and help families to safely care at home for their loved one who is at the end of life. Hope brings expert nursing care, home health aide services and support by medical social workers, chaplains, volunteers and others to compassionately deliver the help families need.
