Important Event Information
Please note: The Hike for Hope is rain or shine!
Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing or athletic wear and comfortable sneakers. Check the weather and please plan accordingly!
Parking: FREE street parking is available on Sundays in Ridgewood as well as at the Hudson Street Parking Garage (25 Hudson Street, Ridgewood), located a block away from Van Neste Square. Please do not park in the Ridgewood United Methodist Church lot.
Water Bottle Policy: In an effort to limit our environmental footprint, is a plastic bottle free event. We ask that all Hikers PLEASE bring a reusable water bottle to the Hike for Hope. Water stations for refills will be available to participants at Van Neste Square and along the route.
Refreshments & Restrooms: An assortment of snacks and treats will be available for Hikers before and after the walk in Van Neste Square. Portable toilets are available at Van Neste Square for guests.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to our Top Fundraising Teams and Top Individual Fundraiser. In addition, Guests can earn tickets for raffle prizes and our tricky tray by fundraising and completing online challenges leading up to May 3. Tickets will be distributed at registration and may also be earned from participating in games, contests, and activities on the day of the event.

Ready to get moving for Family Promise? Get a head start on our Hike by previewing our three-mile route below! Maps will be available for all Hikers on the day of our event, and signs directing Hikers will be placed along the route.
